A young Turkish girl’s desire for a different existence forms one part of the story. She's a teenager bound by religious beliefs and traditional ways of life, compelled to follow her family’s customs, including marrying an older man who isn't particularly pleasant. Confined within the walls of her home, she experiences a lack of freedom, essentially living as a servant to her husband and his overbearing mother, suppressing all feelings—whether sexual or otherwise—and refraining from expressing any disagreement. This internal sadness is palpable. In contrast, there’s a woman who is a psychiatrist, embracing life with an open mind and a modern perspective. She freely explores her sexuality, enjoying relationships with multiple partners; she's a pragmatic person who lives for pleasure. Mature and independent, not particularly religious, this woman is clever and creates the life she wants, understanding and accepting homosexuality, transgender individuals, and various psychological challenges faced by contemporary people. This stands in stark opposition to the girl trapped within the constraints of her emotions, religion, and the expectations surrounding becoming a woman. Despite their differences, both women face difficulties. It’s possible they aren't as dissimilar as they initially appear. The film delivers tension, drama, a racing pulse, raw emotion, pivotal moments, and an ultimate resolution—or does it? What awaits at the very end?
