It’s an entertaining adventure film centering on a duke attempting to enlist “Mirko” (Yves Vincent) to deal with aggressive, red-robed soldiers believed to be vengeful spirits of slain men. The catch is that the princess "Cristina" (Scilla Gabel) must become his bride. Understandably, she isn’t thrilled about this prospect, but a possible rescuer emerges as “Paolo” (Tony Russel), hidden behind a mask. It shares similarities with "Zorro," even in how transparent the masks are; however, there's an abundance of action sequences and, refreshingly, "Cristina" participates in some fighting herself. The film boasts vibrant visuals and moves at a brisk speed, and the English dubbing isn’t significantly worse than what you find in many comparable movies. It's uncommon to see something like this now, but it’s reasonably worthwhile if the subject matter appeals to you and your expectations aren't high.
