I’ve never really been one for dogs; cats have always been more my thing. However, the Blondie movies are consistently entertaining, especially considering how Daisy, the Bumsteads' dog, appears throughout the series. In this installment, Dagwood brings home a Great Dane for $50, and it turns out to be quite a handful—consuming everything in sight and apparently unsuitable for competitions because he keeps dozing off. It was amusing to watch Blondie nearly consider ending their marriage over the situation, before she ultimately grew fond of the enormous dog. A very pleasant viewing experience.
