It was largely an unpleasant film to experience, primarily because the protagonist, seeking retribution for his sister's suffering and demise, pursues it by inflicting torment upon the spouse of the individual responsible. It’s difficult to feel any compassion for anyone beyond the woman in that situation. The scenario would be comparable to Paul Kersey targeting not just those who murdered his wife and assaulted his daughter but also their romantic partners.
