A well-dressed woman (Catrinel Marlon) finds herself in a taxi, transported from an isolated location to a run-down café. The radio broadcasts news about the nation’s economic struggles, highlighting bank control and widespread repossessions. Recognizing her expensive handbag, the café owners take extreme measures. However, it's unclear if their assumptions were correct. This film draws inspiration from a traditional, nameless fairy tale, but feels abbreviated, preventing a full exploration of the narrative and denying viewers the opportunity to fully grasp the events or their motivations. It’s disappointing because the black-and-white cinematography and the unpleasantness of the soup suggested something more substantial.
