This movie was a complete waste of time; I won't be revisiting it, and I suggest others steer clear. I tuned in primarily to assess Jessica Rothe’s acting abilities after seeing "Happy Death Day," and honestly, I’m still unsure what to make of her performance. It’s unsettling to witness such a polished production with so much apparent talent ultimately amount to absolutely nothing. The experience felt like observing a very ordinary story unfold, but without anything captivating happening. Typically, narratives involve progression; this one seemed capable of setting up potential plot points—like foreshadowing elements—but then had no intention of resolving them. I can recall at least three significant moments that could have been fantastic with a clever twist or revelation, yet they were left completely unresolved. Essentially, the film consists solely of her having a somewhat strained relationship with her father and sister for two hours.
