It’s possible to see why some people might enjoy Jurassic Park III, but it didn’t work for me at all. It comes across as a spoof rather than a genuine effort to create a worthwhile continuation of the series. The feeling of excitement and anticipation is completely absent. Even the visual effects appear poorly done. The new characters were also hard to get behind, honestly. I might change my mind later, but Fallen Kingdom has some things going for it, even though that film is also quite bad and borders on insulting to those who appreciate the franchise. I can’t picture myself wanting to watch III again anytime soon. Rating: D-
