It makes one consider what Shakespeare or Sondheim would think about this. A striking Israeli soldier finds himself drawn to a beautiful Palestinian woman, and the conflict immediately becomes apparent. The rivalry between "Kosher King" and "Hummus Hut" escalates into something of a competition, complete with spirited songs, lively dancing, and even some falafel preparation meant to resolve things. There's even a fiddler present! The rest of the narrative and its characters playfully mock stereotypes, the advertising world, and I personally discovered it to be an unexpectedly amusing and absurd parody of political and religious divisions unfolding within a whimsical setting of fast-food themed adventures—though some of the rhymes felt awkward. Even the camel receives affection as the romantic storyline progresses. It's genuinely enjoyable, satirical, and lighthearted.
