It’s remarkable to find such a good group of actors in a low-budget, lighthearted Cold War spy story. A unique metal, possessing the potential to revolutionize warfare, is shaped into a cigarette case that finds its way into the possession of American jewel thief "Martin" (Sheldon Lawrence). As expected, those shadowy figures desire its return and what follows for the next sixty minutes is a rather weakly developed narrative that spells everything out plainly before reaching an ending lacking in excitement or danger. There's a lot of talking throughout, but there’s not much spark between Lawrence and Julia Arnell ("Petra"), who feels fairly bland. While it provides easy entertainment, ultimately, it’s pretty forgettable.
