The movie centers on Bobby Greene (played by Lombardi), a comedian who believes he needs to adopt a more serious persona to attract love, and Marv Holtz (John Chisholm), a psychologist seeking to inject humor into his life for the same purpose. Barbara Kelly, portrayed by Christina Sampson, puts ads in a singles paper because she’s unsure of what she's looking for. Bobby and Marv both end up dating Barbara, though neither is aware of the other’s involvement! The narrative follows a recognizable love triangle structure, presenting an engaging plot with an unexpected resolution at its conclusion. The performances from the three main characters are strong, as are those of Buddy (Art Lyle) and Sheila (Jennifer Wiener). Dolores Lombardi also delivers some genuinely funny moments as Mrs. Nuesbaum, Marv’s patient who has a fear of fish! Lombardi's comedy club scenes are quite amusing too. I deducted one point due to the production quality; while the visuals are acceptable, there were a couple of instances where the audio was difficult to hear clearly. The film’s musical score is well-chosen and complements the story nicely. It isn’t flawless, but I would still suggest seeing it; I recommend it quite a bit!
