A couple nearing the end of their marriage embarks on a cross-country road trip to attend their son's wedding, intending to sell their home afterward. During their journey, they pause to gather experiences and reconnect with people from their past—old friends, former romantic partners, and a daughter who is expecting a child. The baby’s father turns out to be an athlete who used to play professional basketball. It appears that nearly everyone they encounter is in some kind of unconventional relationship arrangement, which casts the couple's pending separation in a surprisingly conventional light. I have to say, I enjoy Richard Dreyfuss’s work; people have even remarked on a resemblance between us. The film felt staged like a production from an off-Broadway theater, and it proved to be enjoyable. It isn’t meant to offer any deep insights; consider it simply as something pleasant to watch.
