It's an okay attempt, though I was anticipating more. The film has a sense of authenticity, yet it feels somewhat unfinished. Still, that might be intentional, mirroring the complexities of real life and distinguishing itself from typical gangster narratives. There’s surprisingly little actual gangster activity; instead, it functions as a character study, prioritizing depictions of family dynamics above all else. Primo, who is genuinely associated with a blood gang, portrays a version of himself. However, the performance by the teenage actor doesn't quite convince me that his character belongs in that world. I think he might be miscast. Regarding its rating, it’s certainly not a five-star production, but I’d give it a 5.5 out of 10.
