Tony Goldwyn deserves wider recognition; he consistently delivers strong performances yet hasn’t achieved major stardom. He seemed to remain in the realm of supporting roles throughout the 1990s and then faded from view. That feels like a loss. And he's not alone in *Ghost*; Vincent Schiavelli appears as well. The film benefits from a talented ensemble cast that commits fully to their parts. While the story itself isn’t particularly original—the plot has similarities to other films—that doesn’t detract significantly when the execution is good.
