Murray (Jack Somack) and his patient wife, Tilda (Ann Thomas), are in business with their plumbing supplies company when a man shows up. This visitor, played by Michael Vale, insists he's a genie and eventually explains that they’ve been chosen for three wishes. Naturally, the couple assumes he's not quite right in the head, so while he keeps their guest occupied discussing his desires, she slips away to find a police officer. However, when Tilda returns with the confused law enforcement official, Murray has already made some quick decisions, and they soon discover that the presents aren’t exactly what they had hoped for. Robert Siegler's writing includes some amusing lines delivered in a familiar Jewish style of humor, but this element becomes repetitive fairly quickly; after establishing the premise, it seems like the writer isn’t sure where to take things from there. It's an interesting concept with occasional bright spots, though not enough to carry the story for twenty minutes.
