It’s a pleasant enough short film, though the humor feels drawn out; even at eight minutes, it feels longer than it needs to be. The story begins in a bar where a small man repeatedly finds himself targeted by a burly character resembling “Bluto” – or maybe "Blotto." He seems to attract trouble simply by being present, and these encounters typically conclude with him getting knocked down. A clever narrator proposes various ways for the man to avoid confrontation. These include things like fainting, yelling, and laughing uncontrollably. Each of these roughly six situations is presented through animation, and much of the film’s limited humor comes from the accompanying commentary. I found the notion of warding off an attacker with garlic breath amusing, and the concept of having a gorilla as a companion isn't terrible either, but beyond that, the short lost its appeal fairly quickly—around five minutes in.
