Many may be familiar with dances like the tango or jitterbug, but what about the maxixe or wormstep? These are among the various dance styles showcased by Veloz and Yolanda, who are highly regarded in their field, alongside a brief yet well-presented segment featuring Vernon and Irene Castle from Britain and America. The film itself is fairly straightforward technically, however, the lighting and musical accompaniment enhance the dancers' graceful and spirited presentations, finishing with an exciting rhumba. It’s a fascinating collection of dances from the early 1900s that has been assembled in a skillful way.
