It’s hard to believe any money was actually spent on making this movie beyond purchasing eggs for the aliens' eyes. Peter Graves, playing Dr. Doug Martin, would eventually show he could be funny, but agreeing to be in this science fiction story certainly seemed like a good example of that. Extraterrestrials—who apparently feel some guilt—come from outer space with the goal of repopulating Earth with their own massive population. Their problem is they don't want to get their hands dirty, so they intend to enlarge insects and lizards to carry out their plan: eliminating humans. Now it’s a frantic effort for the doubting scientists to thwart this terrible scheme. It truly is as awful as it seems; the special effects are substandard, and there’s far too much talking going on.
