It feels like a show put on for soldiers during wartime, though relocated to the Mississippi delta and populated mainly by animated amphibians instead of someone like Bob Hope. The presentation incorporates spirited dancing in various forms alongside upbeat jazz music, creating numerous amusing scenes within the marshy environment. While the animation style is consistent rather than groundbreaking, it remains entertaining, particularly when the characters don grass skirts and try out a belly dance! It’s not exceptional, but it offers an agreeable burst of color and cultural elements.
