This was not a good experience, and I won’t be revisiting it or suggesting it to anyone else. I previously believed Justin Long’s involvement guaranteed a worthwhile film, but he's clearly taken on some unusual projects lately; his performances aren’t poor, they simply seem miscast. What I wanted—a compelling narrative centered around the pursuit of Bigfoot, even just a simple search—wasn't what I received. Instead, the film awkwardly combines several plotlines: a scheme to generate income quickly, a supposed Sasquatch fabrication, instances of bullying, and an appealing teenage love story that deserved to be the primary focus. There’s considerable time spent on irrelevant details when the narrative could have been significantly more enjoyable. The storyline is so tangled and disheartening that I can't even recall how it concludes. I essentially lost interest around the third act.
