People packed themselves into a theater as a jazz group played some upbeat tunes. "Piggy" planned to bring his girlfriend to the show, and after a comical trip from her place on his unreliable vehicle, they got there. A short bit with Al Jolson introduced a lively performance by Gus Arnheim’s orchestra. That's when she said they didn’t seem to know what they were doing—and then snatched a saxophone to have an impromptu musical contest with the trombone player. The two of them ended up taking over the stage before running off into a town filled with music-related imagery. It felt disjointed, and the different parts didn't really come together to form a coherent narrative; it seemed more like a way for jazz enthusiasts to get some screen time. There’s nothing particularly memorable about this one, I’m afraid.
