This film contains one of the most compelling narratives I’ve encountered through any medium. It was so immersive that I didn’t realize it was a motion picture until the credits appeared. If I were Mr. Mahesh Bhatt and someone inquired about my proudest achievement, I would undoubtedly say it was creating ZAKHM. The film excels in every aspect—the story, dialogue, direction, editing, music, songs, and most importantly, the performances are all exceptional. Ajay Devgan, Kunal Khemu, Pooja Bhatt; each actor delivered a flawless performance. The supporting actors, including Ashutosh Rana, Saurabh Shukla, Sharat Saxna, Sonali Bendre, and everyone else involved, were equally impressive. The film’s portrayal of communal tension was handled with such grace that it evoked feelings of regret for being part of a species capable of taking lives simply due to religious differences. It reaffirmed my conviction that faith transcends any specific religion. It's essential to have faith in humanity; otherwise, the madness within us will dominate, and that could mark the end of humankind. I only hope everyone could possess the understanding and compassion towards other beliefs demonstrated by Pooja Bhatt’s character across all faiths. It is an outstanding film suitable for audiences worldwide, guaranteed to evoke a strong emotional response.
