I got this film as part of a discounted collection of movies for families at a large retail chain. It wasn’t the main reason I bought the set, but it turned out to be an enjoyable film with both entertainment value and some historical background. Roger Kern and Linda Purl are in the cast, portraying a young couple hoping to make a life for themselves on land in the Dakotas. They encounter difficulties during their journey, yet show resilience and resolve in dealing with them. Viewers shouldn't anticipate performances of award-winning caliber or stunning visuals; it’s simply an uplifting movie that is appropriate for families and nice to watch.
