This motion picture from Bruno Corbucci, Sergio’s brother, struggles to settle on its tone, wavering between a grim and intense approach and something more playful and humorous. This indecision proves to be one of the film's biggest shortcomings. The movie incorporates some unusual or interesting elements; for instance, one central figure carries a whip, another is perpetually snacking on peanuts, and there’s a villain who cherishes his duck. While the plot isn't terrible, it doesn't offer anything particularly new. Certain action sequences feel excessive, with stunt performers tumbling from rooftops instead of showing more diverse approaches. Conversely, the two lead performers, Brian Kelly and Fabrizio Moroni, deliver solid performances, and the film includes some striking desert landscapes, which represent highlights. The musical score is above average but doesn't reach the level of brilliance found in other well-known spaghetti western soundtracks.
