Manoj Bajpayee delivers a remarkable performance in this impactful courtroom drama. Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai is a stark and direct courtroom story inspired by the life of a spiritual leader and his deceptive actions. The film feels realistic and straightforward in its narrative, which makes it deeply thought-provoking and intense. Aside from occasional dramatic flourishes, the movie adheres to the actual events and doesn't avoid revealing uncomfortable realities surrounding the case that captivated the country. Deepak Kingrani’s writing is strong, and Arjun Kukreti’s cinematography is exceptionally well done. The music creates an intriguing atmosphere and enhances the overall feel of the courtroom proceedings. Apoorv Singh Karki, who previously directed the TVF series Aspirants, helmed the film; it's striking how different the genres are. His direction demonstrates how to transform a thoroughly investigated case into a compelling movie experience. It’s hard to imagine anyone else being as well-suited for such a character-focused project as Manoj Bajpayee. He is an undeniable talent and a valuable asset to the industry, proving his abilities once again. He embodies the role of PC Solanki perfectly, grappling with personal doubts while maintaining unwavering conviction. Adrija, portraying the female character, delivers such a convincing performance that for much of the film I believed it was genuine. Her explanations of events, filled with pain and sorrow, are genuinely moving. She has a promising career ahead of her. Vipin Sharma is formidable and unyielding as the defense attorney, and his eventual agreement with Manoj is skillfully portrayed. This stands out as one of the best Hindi films released this year, and Manoj Bajpayee should be considered for another national award for his work. It's an intense and emotionally engaging courtroom film that warrants your attention and has my strongest endorsement.
