This has been among the least enjoyable films I’ve seen recently. The script was remarkably poor. The female lead's character felt exhausting. The action sequences were dull, and the performances lacked energy. The initial quarter hour serves as an introduction to what turns into another thirty-minute setup, which then leads into a half hour of uninspired action that lacks any clear purpose or coherence. The film demonstrates a remarkable ability to simply state things rather than visually demonstrating them, repeatedly emphasizing how impressive everyone is (which they aren’t), and occasionally throwing in an explosion or two—and some instances of characters being hit by bullets—all incredibly tedious. I believe the most significant failing is its inability to create a fantasy world that's engaging. The plot and character actions are illogical, unbelievable, and simply don’t ring true. It was a regrettable use of time and potential. 4/10
