Here’s a straightforward assessment of this movie. It manages to hold your attention; you won’t doze off, but it’s not something that will stick with you afterward. Essentially, what we have here is an inexpensive erotic thriller. It advertises itself as an inexpensive erotic thriller. You pretty much know exactly what you're in for when you start watching—it doesn’t try to be anything other than what it is, and it includes all the standard elements: a steamy sex scene, nudity, a poorly acted male character, a mysterious female lead, and a plot twist that’s evident from the very beginning. And it delivers those elements with enthusiasm. Let's face it, if you were hoping for something like Chinatown, you wouldn’t have chosen this film in the first place. The sole reason to watch is to experience a cheap erotic thriller. If that isn’t what you want, then there’s no reason to see it. It delivers precisely what it claims to be. I don't get why people gave it such bad scores; nobody went into this expecting anything more.
