It’s a truly beautiful experience for those seeing it on stage, providing a wonderful opportunity for Jeffrey Cirio to showcase his skill and physical abilities. He portrays the central figure who's being subjected to procedures within an aging Arctic research facility. His days are controlled by the rather unpleasant "Major" (Fabian Reimair), with support from the threatening "Doctor" (Stina Quagebeur). Life is a constant sequence of suffering and bleakness—until he develops a connection with "Marie" (Erina Takahashi), the cleaning staff member, bringing a small amount of hope into his otherwise dismal world. The lighting, limited conversations, and unsettling production design all contribute significantly, along with the powerful score by Vincenzo Lasagna, to crafting an exceptionally engaging and stimulating platform for Cirio’s impressive dancing, which is full of charm from the very beginning. I'm not usually a huge fan of dance performances, but this one doesn’t demand that you be. The narrative unfolds smoothly, the characters draw you in and push you away, and the entire presentation is a sensory delight. Dim the lights, get something to drink, relax, and prepare to be captivated; it's genuinely good.
