It’s difficult to fully express how much I liked this movie; I even wrote about it multiple times on Letterboxd! The single word that comes to mind when thinking about Moulin Rouge is poignant. It evokes that feeling every time I watch it, from the spectacle and beauty to the music and narrative. This truly feels like an ideal romance. Ewan McGregor and Nicole Kidman both delivered wonderful performances. I suggest watching this film as a Valentine’s Day indulgence!
