The story involves an RAF unit tasked with taking out a concealed German V2 rocket facility located in France under Nazi control. David McCallum heads up a cast that isn't exactly comprised of top stars, and the film unfolds as a somewhat plodding drama featuring courageous prisoners of war and stereotypical villains. There are some impressive aerial sequences and it’s enjoyable to see the planes perform their maneuvers. Apart from that, the movie feels underwhelming and has the air of something created specifically for TV.
