This science fiction film, *Morgan*, works really well; the horror elements are less successful. The performances feel genuine, and while it won’t be a mind-altering experience, I did find it quite enjoyable. The initial portion feels slow-paced, but as the story progresses, its strengths become more apparent. It managed to hold my attention throughout, and Luke Scott, Ridley Scott's son, delivered solid direction. Visually, the film is impressive, with excellent sound design; *Morgan* is a perfect choice for casual viewing—just sit back, unwind, and grab some snacks.
