The film doesn't present anything logically. Given his need to consume blood from a bag every six hours, there’s no reason for the elaborate plot surrounding it. It’s difficult to accept that billions of people could possibly support even one vampire. Instead, he manufactures synthetic blood due to ethical concerns—a justification that sidesteps the question of how he obtains what he needs without harming anyone. The storyline continues in this vein, with choices that don't make sense and dialogue that feels dull and serves no purpose. The antagonist’s descent into villainy is attributed to past bullying, which seems like a flimsy explanation. The vampire’s abilities are inconsistent and arbitrary; at one point, he flies, supposedly because the wind generated by a subway train is assisting him. This not only defies logic but also appears poorly rendered with substandard CGI. On a more positive note, Jared Leto delivers a commendable performance, and I'm eager to see him in a project worthy of his talent.
