It's not as bad as some people are saying, but it was still a letdown considering how much money they spent on it. Morbius is something like a vampire Batman-Frankenstein hybrid. A doctor who’s also a genius tries to find a cure for a rare and serious illness, and he does discover one—but at a significant price. He gets rid of his disease and gains superpowers, but now has an overwhelming need for blood that can't be satisfied by substitutes. The film focuses on Morbius attempting to fix the problems caused by what he’s done. The visuals are alright, but the story isn't very good. There were a lot of unanswered questions and things that didn’t quite add up when the credits rolled. It felt like the movie just stopped suddenly without a proper ending, and several supporting characters who I thought would be important in resolving the issues seemed to disappear entirely. Sony/Marvel really needs to find some better writers for their films.
