Roland Emmerich's Moonfall feels like a considerably less intelligent take on Michael Bay’s Armageddon. It's difficult to find much enjoyment beyond the amusing detail of K.C. Houseman’s cat being called Fuzz Aldrin. The film suffers from a ridiculous concept, dialogue delivered with excessive melodrama and featuring some truly over-the-top speeches, wooden performances, humor that doesn't land, and deliberately warped computer-generated imagery. It is overloaded with chaotic silliness and yet somehow manages to be incredibly dull.
