The film runs a little long, but that’s easily overlooked thanks to everything else it offers. I really enjoyed seeing Dev Patel's first time directing. He delivers an outstanding performance as the main character; I had only seen him in two movies before this—*Slumdog Millionaire* and *The Last Airbender*—so I was pleased to see more of his acting. It’s a great job, both in front of and behind the camera, and I'm glad he got it made. I do think cutting some length would have helped; it wasn’t a huge problem for me, but there were times when my attention slipped slightly. The story is good though, full of action sequences and emotional depth. It looks beautiful visually. Pitobash and Vipin Sharma are standouts in the supporting cast, and Ashwini Kalsekar also does well. It's certainly worth seeing, particularly in a movie theater! I had a good time overall.
