This movie is a truly disappointing creature film, which unfortunately aligns with Syfy’s typical output. It makes you feel almost bad for Sean Patrick Flanery. While Norman Reedus was gaining popularity with _The Walking Dead_, Flanery found himself involved in something like this. I will **sort of** acknowledge the computer-generated effects on the worms; if they were isolated against a blank background, they actually look pretty good. The issue is that they don't seem to belong in the world presented onscreen. The design of the worm itself is visually acceptable, but it appears very obviously superimposed onto the action. _Final rating:★½: - Boring/disappointing. Avoid where possible._
