This neo-noir from Britain is quite enjoyable, with strong performances by Bob Hoskins and Cathy Tyson, who have a few pleasant moments together before a rather sad finish. Michael Caine also does well as a sophisticated criminal; it appears he frequently portrayed characters like this during the seventies and eighties.
