I saw Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning not long ago, and I have to say, I wasn't overly impressed. There are parts that work well, and the film looks incredible — certain shots are gorgeous, with striking colors and impressive camera work that really highlight how big the action is. But despite these visual strengths, the story itself doesn’t quite measure up. At times, the plot feels like something you can see coming, and the rhythm of events doesn't consistently hold your attention. The fight scenes are done well, but they aren’t enough to overcome a less-than-stellar narrative. The performers do what they can, but the writing doesn’t provide them with much substance or meaningful growth, which makes it difficult to become truly engaged in the events unfolding. It has moments of real skill in its visuals and technical aspects, though the story doesn't quite reach the standard one would expect from a Mission: Impossible film. Ultimately, it’s an acceptable movie if you like watching elaborate stunts and impressive imagery, but it isn’t particularly gripping or remarkable. My experience was uneven, and I’d give it a 6/10.
