This latest *Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning* ranks among my most enjoyable experiences with the M:I films; it’s definitely within my top four. While perhaps a little extended at 2 hours and 50 minutes, I didn’t find myself feeling restless during its runtime. As expected, there's plenty of action to be found. Tom Cruise delivers an outstanding performance as Ethan Hunt, continuing the high standard he’s set across the previous seven films. The supporting cast is strong overall, but it’s clear that Cruise holds everything together. Among them, Ving Rhames has a satisfying storyline, and Hannah Waddingham and Tramell Tillman each have memorable moments. It's never been my absolute favorite series, yet I’ve consistently found every *Mission: Impossible* installment to be quite good; in fact, I rated each release an 8/10 – which demonstrates the remarkable consistency of this franchise. I’m glad I finally got around to seeing one of them on a big screen. *assuming this is the end—it likely isn't, given how studios operate, but we will see
