While not necessarily the pinnacle of the Mission: Impossible series, "Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning" proves to be a fitting and emotionally resonant conclusion. The film does suffer from some unevenness in its rhythm and occasionally leans too heavily on explaining things, but Christopher McQuarrie and Tom Cruise manage to overcome these shortcomings with impressive visuals and sound, a strong underlying message, and a dedication to honoring the history of the story. Should this genuinely mark the end of the road, it provides a lovely and sincere send-off. My gratitude to Ethan Hunt, and to all those involved in bringing this mission to life. Rating: B+
