It's nice to see this installment in the Mission: Impossible series attempting to establish connections between characters, which is a definite improvement over the previous films’ constantly changing lineups and forgettable supporting players—it lets you get to know people better. However, a significant issue I have with the movie is that while we understand what’s at risk, there's no information about the object they are pursuing. Providing some insight into what they're after would help viewers feel more engaged. It isn’t the strongest entry in the series, but it’s considerably better than the second one.
