Hearing about it on The Rewatchables podcast made me want to watch this again. It's about stopping crime using what seems like an unbreakable method. What struck me was how different movies used to be; they focused on original stories, not just sequels. I’d completely forgotten how well Farrell performs in this film. While there are some gaps in the logic, it remains consistently engaging and suspenseful throughout. It would be interesting to see a story exploring the origins of the system and its initial development. It wasn't until later that I realized Spielberg was involved, but each time I view his work, my respect for him grows.
