It's understandable why these "Minions" are somewhat unreliable, considering the questionable characters they’ve served in the past. Currently, however, they lack direction and purpose. They need to locate someone truly villainous to pledge their allegiance to – but who will that be? “Kevin,” “Stuart,” and little “Bob” set out to resolve this, making them easy targets for the plotting "Scarlet Overkill," who intends to carry out an enormous crime. It’s rare to see anyone attempt to steal the Crown Jewels from the Tower of London; the last time it happened was in 1939, when George Zucco tried it. She's grown weary of being subordinate to men within the criminal underworld, but can her small yellow assistants help her reach the Queen’s throne? After a series of silly incidents and some trickery, things escalate with Beefeaters, a dungeon, miniature police cars, and a fitting soundtrack for their escapades. It is genuinely enjoyable, filled with fast-moving action and cleverly written situations that make the ninety minutes worthwhile. The baby's indistinct babbling can become irritating eventually, but it seems to be intentional, serving as an introduction. This film clearly suggests another installment, and we are introduced to a genuine adversary of those who respect the law.
