"Midnight Run" delivers a good amount of well-done action and humor that really gets laughs, but it depends heavily on profanity, which is sure to bother some viewers. It's also very enjoyable to watch, featuring several scenes with Robert De Niro that stick with you – he’s captivating during the sequence where his character goes to see his former spouse, Gail, to ask for funds (resulting in a notably uncomfortable meeting with his daughter and an ultimately mortifying quiet) and again when he confronts Jimmy Serrano, someone from his past he'd rather not deal with. Plus, all of the different places they film in look really beautiful.
