I’m usually a fan of crime-thrillers, whether they’re based on true stories or made up, and this one had some decent parts, but the editing felt really careless, and the acting wasn't consistent. Bruce Willis seemed disinterested again, appearing for only about ten minutes and barely influencing what happened; he's essentially Megan Fox’s partner who vanishes and then reappears briefly at the very end. Megan Fox was alright, although it was hard to buy her as an FBI agent. Emile Hirsch’s southern accent felt strange too—I couldn’t figure out its purpose because it didn't connect with his character or where he was supposed to be from. Lukas Haas, playing the serial killer, had a few good scenes, but his performance and the character itself were nothing new compared to what you’ve seen on shows like Criminal Minds. I really hoped I would enjoy this more than I did; it just didn't quite come together. The ending was supposed to be tense, but the editing made it feel awkward and disappointing. **2.25/5**
