This film was a real treat to experience. It felt like having Michael Jackson back, and people everywhere seem to have embraced it. Antoine Fuqua managed to avoid the problematic aspects often associated with Michael Jackson’s story, instead concentrating on his rise to stardom. I'm not concerned about what professional reviewers think; I suggest you see it for yourself. Jaafar Jackson and Colman Domingo both gave outstanding performances. I’d give the movie a 9.5 out of 10. It's something you won’t regret watching, particularly if you catch it in IMAX.
