Chadwick Boseman’s presence certainly helps, and I found myself entertained by *Message from the King*. It’s not an ambitious movie; it doesn’t try to break new ground, but I was still engaged for almost its entire 102 minutes. The initial setup is well done, with the relationships feeling authentic. It does stumble a bit later on, although that didn't significantly detract from my enjoyment. Boseman really stands out as the film’s biggest asset, delivering a strong performance as Jacob. Luke Evans, playing Paul, is agreeable to watch, and Teresa Palmer, as Kelly, has some brief highlights. Alfred Molina appears as Mike, along with Tom Felton and Gregg Henry. The conclusion isn't particularly memorable, though it gets the job done. Considering the film’s visual appeal and Boseman’s performance, I expect I will recall this favorably.
