This science fiction comedy featuring Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones is a diverting experience. The story follows an active New York police officer (Will Smith) who becomes part of a covert government group that manages contact with alien life visiting our planet. Tommy Lee Jones portrays his experienced colleague, while Rip Torn takes on the role of the agency’s leader, Vincent D'Onofrio appears as a possessed rural resident, and Linda Fiorentino is an appealing medical examiner. "Men in Black" (1997) proves to be quite entertaining during its initial portion, though it does diminish somewhat toward the end. Still, it serves its purpose when you’re looking for lighthearted and exciting diversion. The movie spurred on three additional installments: “Men in Black II” (2002), “Men in Black 3” (2012) and "Men in Black: International" (2019). Notably, the most recent film didn't include either Tommy Lee Jones or Will Smith. The movie has a running time of 1 hour, 38 minutes, and filming took place in New York City and its vicinity (such as Jersey City), along with Semi Valley, CA (for the scene depicting a spacecraft impact) and the Los Angeles/Culver City area.
