This installment represents a personal nadir for the franchise. While Brolin gives a noteworthy performance portraying a younger Tommy Lee Jones, the screenplay falls short. It’s not merely subpar; it simply retreads familiar ground—**again**. We've now seen three consecutive Men in Black films where the primary storyline can be summed up briefly: "Prevent the disguised alien from stealing the jewelry." There was one alien in a smaller part who proved to be quite likable, though. _Final rating:★★ - It had elements I enjoyed, but ultimately it didn’t work out well._
