Men & Chicken is... unusual. It's a good film, despite that! My only real complaint would be the length; I think it could have been trimmed down considerably so the fairly foreseeable ending arrived sooner. Aside from that, I found this 2015 movie enjoyable. There’s a talented group of actors involved, some genuinely funny moments (especially in the first portion), and a plot that's definitely interesting—it even manages to deliver a somewhat uplifting message at the very end. Mads Mikkelsen is great here, as he usually is. I watched this while working my way through his film appearances, so it was nice to spot several actors who’ve collaborated with him before; plus director Anders Thomas Jensen, naturally. Nikolaj Lie Kaas stood out to me as a clear example of that, though you also see David Dencik and Nicolas Bro among others.
