It feels like the saying should be "Ask no questions and tell no lies," but _Scorch Trials_ appeared to be experimenting with something different—presenting numerous inquiries without offering any resolutions. Despite this, there are still some engaging elements that emerge as the film progresses. It doesn't have the same sense of unity as the initial installment, definitely, although it does pack in more events, which is understandable. Final rating:★★½ - There was a lot I liked about it, but it just didn’t quite come together.
